American Football

American Football é uma banda de emo/indie rock formada em 1997 em Urbana, Illinois. A banda atualmente é composta por Mike Kinsella (vocal/guitarra), Nate Kinsella (baixo) Steve Holmes (guitarra) e Steve Lamos (bateria). O grupo havia lançado seu primeiro álbum em 1999, o auto-intitulado American Football, se tornando referência para muitas bandas emo antes de entrar em hiato em 2000. Em 2014, a banda se reuniu novamente e anunciou uma série de shows pelos Estados Unidos no mesmo ano. Em 2016 lançam um novo álbum com 9 faixas inéditas.
